About Me/Company and Experience:
I worked in I.T. for 35 Years but in recent years decided I wanted to move into a career that gave me an opportunity to help people.
I have always had an interest in health and fitness and having run several races at 10K and half marathon distances over the past few years, I felt that the fitness industry would be a good area for me to work. While working full time, I studied and passed my Personal Training qualifications. I am also very interested in nutrition and weight management as part of an exercise programme and have also gained qualifications in those areas.
I am myself an older adult and I understand the effects of getting older and how to tailor an exercise program that takes account of age.
I also specialise in G.P. referrals, where a G.P. may have recommended exercise for a number of medical conditions such as arthritis, heart disease, osteoporosis, hip replacement, asthma and diabetes.
I have first-hand knowledge of a number of medical conditions through family members and friends.
I care about your fitness, I am patient, have a friendly approach, and I will fully support and encourage you in your goals.
